## About the Role

Must have experience migrating from Nutanix to Azure cloud!, * 7+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure engineering experience (cloud + on-prem).

 * 3+ years of hands-on Azure infrastructure engineering experience.
 * Proven experience migrating production workloads from on-prem to Azure, including planning and cutover.
 * Strong background with Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, storage, networking, and hybrid infrastructure.
 * Advanced PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation experience.
 * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Bicep).
 * Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VNets, routing, DNS, firewalls, VPN, hybrid connectivity).
 * Experience implementing backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
 * Ability to lead projects independently from requirements/design through testing and operational handoff.
 * Strong troubleshooting skills across interconnected infrastructure technologies.
 * Experience working within enterprise security standards, change management, and operational processes.
 * Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 * Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
 * Experience with Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, and landing zone architecture.
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure deployment.

## Description

Looking for a senior-level infrastructure engineer to design, implement, and modernize enterprise infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and on-prem environments. This role focuses on leading complex infrastructure projects, migrating legacy workloads to the cloud, improving operational efficiency through automation, and ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable solutions., * Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure (primarily Microsoft Azure), including compute, storage, networking, security, and hybrid connectivity.

 * Plan and execute migrations from on-prem to Azure (dependency analysis, migration planning, testing, cutover, and post-migration validation).
 * Lead infrastructure modernization efforts across server platforms, virtualization, storage, networking, backup/DR, and consolidation initiatives.
 * Build automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions to improve consistency, reduce manual effort, and streamline operations.
 * Deliver end-to-end infrastructure projects independently (solution design through documentation and handoff to operations).
 * Troubleshoot complex issues spanning cloud services, networking, virtualization, operating systems, and integrated services.
 * Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, availability, performance, backup, and disaster recovery.
 * Coordinate across infrastructure operations, application teams, enterprise technology teams, and external partners to manage dependencies and execution.
 * Produce technical documentation (architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and runbooks) and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
