In addition, you have: * A WO or HBO degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or similar * Experience with LLMs, RAG, NLP, and generative AI applications * Experience with Python and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar * Knowledge of API integrations, microservices, CMP servers, and event-driven architectures * Experience with data analysis, experiments (A/B testing), and model optimization * Affinity with conversational design and chatbot development * Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and model deployment * Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset * A proactive attitude and the ability to work in an agile EPT * Fluency in Dutch and English ## Description Would you like to build the future of digital customer interaction at Nationale Nederlanden? For an Empowered Product Team (EPT) within a strategic transformation program, we are looking for an experienced Conversational Data Scientist. In this role, you develop and optimize dynamic chat interactions on our new conversational platform (SanneGPT) and ensure that customers are effectively helped within two minutes. As a Conversational Data Scientist, you are responsible for developing, training, and improving AI-driven conversational flows. You combine data science, AI, and conversational design to answer customer questions smartly, quickly, and correctly. You work at the intersection of LLMs, data, conversational journeys, and platform integrations. By intelligently integrating business logic and data and applying RAG and LLMs, you ensure that our chatbot conversation continuously learns and improves based on data and usage. In doing so, you deliver a direct impact on customer satisfaction, efficiency, and the automation of customer processes.
