## Description

The Ruby Developer will join a technical team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade APIs supporting communication between internal, external, and third-party systems., * Design and develop APIs, including specifications, endpoints, data models, REST, and GraphQL.

 * Develop and maintain production-grade Ruby services.
 * Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality, maintainability, and security.
 * Collaborate with Technical Leads, Engineering Crew Leads, and API Architects.
 * Integrate APIs with internal systems, external applications, and third-party services.
 * Use AI-enabled development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
 * Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation.
 * Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure development practices.
 * Collaborate with external engineering teams on technical standards, governance, compliance, and ongoing cATO maintenance.
 * Monitor and optimize API performance, reliability, and scalability.
 * Manage API versioning and backward compatibility.
 * Troubleshoot production issues and implement enhancements.
 * Participate in Tier 1 and Tier 2 on-call operations.
