## About the Role

* 5+ years of professional software engineering experience as a full-stack engineer.
 * Proficiency in React and its core principles, including component design, state management, and common workflows such as Redux or an equivalent.
 * Hands-on backend API development in .NET or Python, including REST endpoint design and consumption.
 * Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
 * Knowledge of protocols like HTTP and serialization formats like JSON and XML.
 * Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
 * Knowledge of source control tools and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
 * Beginner to intermediate level design proficiency following UML / C4 / ArchiMate.
 * Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (inheritance, polymorphism, classes, instances, properties).
 * Proficiency in the English language.
 * Must be authorized to work in the United States., * Experience rendering large or streaming datasets in the browser, including charting and tabular data at volume.
 * Exposure to caching layers such as Redis, and to document or time-series databases.
 * Containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and unit testing practice.
 * Interest in data-heavy operational or monitoring products.

## Description

* Develop and implement UI components using React, building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
 * Build and maintain backend API endpoints in the pod's core language, .NET and Python depending on the service.
 * Craft client code that is not just efficient but also performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
 * Optimize components for performance across supported browsers, and troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth user experiences.
 * Write and maintain unit and integration tests for the code you own.
 * Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
 * Gather requirements, validate their understanding amongst the team, and create and maintain relevant documentation.
 * Foster collaboration with fellow engineers, designers, and managers to comprehend user pain points and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
 * Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
 * Take ownership of assigned work, from technical design through a successful release.
