## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Software, or Computer Science degree
 * Embedded software development experience in languages of C / Assembly
 * Experience with the DO-178C software development lifecycle, methodologies and tools including:
 + Requirements Development
 + Requirements Tracing
 + Development of high-level code
 + Development of low-level code
 + Integration
 + Verification and Validation
 * Experience with software certification requirements and documentation
 * Knowledge/experience with TTE (Time Triggered Ethernet) protocol.
 * Knowledge/experience with AFDX (Avionics Full-Duplex Switched Ethernet) protocol.
 * Knowledge/experience with BE (Best Effort) network protocol.
 * Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software with existing avionics systems.
 * Effective written and verbal communication skills
 * Strong interpersonal skills
 * Accountable and takes ownership of assigned tasks
 * Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done

PREFERRED SKILLS:

 * Experience coordinating with cross-functional design teams including Systems, Software, Hardware, and Test
 * Experience of software change management practices using JIRA.
 * Experience with DOORS or DOORS NG

## Description

* Support the design, development and implementation of robust, high-quality software solutions for the Data Network.
 * Craft and implement high-level and low-level software code ensuring our technology is both robust and user-friendly
 * Support the complete software development lifecycle, from concept through implementation, verification, and validation.
 * Support the creation/modification/correction of Low-Level and High-Level Software requirements and the tracing of those requirements to software.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software with existing avionics systems.
