## About the Role

* Experience in cloud computing, cloud architecture design, cloud infrastructure, cloud native design, distributed systems, microservices, service-oriented architecture, SaaS (software as a service), PaaS (platform as a service), and IaaS (infrastructure as a service).
 * Knowledge of operating systems, Linux, Windows, VPN (virtual private network), SQL and NoSQL databases, and cloud development or software deployment.
 * Scripting or software development experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash, Shell Scripting, or.NET; familiarity with APIs, RESTful APIs, and Agile SDLC (software development life cycle) practices.
 * Relevant experience may include MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Ruby on Rails, Internet of Things, and computer science or computer management.

## Description

* Your impact: Build scalable, secure cloud infrastructure so application teams can deliver dependable services to their users.
 * Design AWS cloud architecture using Amazon VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), S3, cloud services, web services, REST (Representational State Transfer) APIs, and identity and access management (IAM).
 * Lead cloud infrastructure implementation and migration projects; assess options across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Rackspace, VMware, OpenStack, and Citrix.
 * Automate deployment processes and DevOps automation with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous delivery), Docker, and Kubernetes.
 * Apply cloud security, virtualization, containerization, and scalable systems practices; account for FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program) requirements where applicable.
