## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
 * Minimum 5 years of experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco switches and routers in enterprise environments.
 * Strong understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, VLANs, subnetting, and IP address management.
 * Experience using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, or similar packet capture utilities.
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Visio.
 * Eligible to work in the United States.
 * Willingness to travel up to 90% to postal locations nationwide.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate network administration tasks.

MBA Consulting Services, Inc. (MBA CSi) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the United States Postal Service (USPS) Mail Processing Network Infrastructure. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission-critical USPS operations. Working as part of a highly skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for network architecture, implementation, troubleshooting, and security while supporting large-scale federal IT initiatives.

 * Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure supporting USPS Mail Processing Network environments.
 * Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst switches, routers, and Layer 2 networking components.
 * Design and implement scalable network architectures for new and existing enterprise applications.
 * Manage IP address allocation, subnetting, routing protocols, and overall network infrastructure performance.
 * Install, configure, and support network security hardware and software.
 * Troubleshoot complex network issues using packet capture and analysis tools such as Wireshark.
 * Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex networking and multi-application connectivity issues.
