## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering or related degree
 * 3+ years of relevant experience in Power Electronics including experience in applications support of power products
 * Ability to run simulations, and create/ review schematics and board layout
 * Ability to help customers debug board level issues, * Strong fundamentals in DC/DC power, especially on multiphase controller and solid understanding of control-loop topology.
 * Hands-on experience working on Data Center power solution especially on multiphase controller, DrMOS/Power Stage
 * Experience supporting customer design from schematics/layout review through system validation, production with the ability to troubleshoot complex system-level power issues
 * Strong communication skills and the ability to proactively drive customer activity
 * Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
 * Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
 * Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
 * Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
 * Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
 * Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
 * Familiar with various GPU/ASIC/CPU VCORE Test tool and plan
 * Experience with core rail design for AI/Data center is plus
 * Strong understanding of PMBus/AVSBus or similar digital power interface is preferred

## Description

The Analog Field Applications Engineer (AFAE) is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing Analog related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The AFAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/opportunities. In this role, the AFAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers.
