## Description

The Software Engineer (SME) designs, develops, and scales software solutions supporting core IT infrastructure. This role integrates third-party components, develops custom features, and modernizes legacy systems through code refactoring, automation, and DevOps process improvements. Working with lead architects, the engineer delivers high-performance applications supporting distributed data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics pipelines while owning all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)., Software Design and Development

 * Design, develop, and scale software solutions supporting core IT infrastructure.
 * Programmatically integrate third-party components and implement custom features.
 * Collaborate with lead architects to build and deploy high-performance applications for large-scale distributed data processing, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics pipelines.

Legacy Modernization and Automation

 * Optimize legacy systems through code refactoring and automation.
 * Improve DevOps processes to support software development and delivery.

Software Development Lifecycle

 * Own all phases of the SDLC.
 * Participate in technical milestone reviews, architecture design sessions, and resource estimation.

Engineering Practices and Continuous Learning

 * Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
 * Foster continuous learning across engineering teams.
