## Description

* Troubleshoot and identify dial tone and telephone service issues.
 * Trace and troubleshoot telephone lines and cabling to identify and resolve cabling, wiring, jack, and telecommunications infrastructure issues.
 * Install, terminate, repair, and troubleshoot cables, jacks, cross-connects, and 66 blocks.
 * Perform cross-connect work and identify individual cable pairs.
 * Run voice and data cabling throughout customer facilities.
 * Install, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, fiber-optic, and other low-voltage cabling.
 * Perform internal and external cabling installations.
 * Use telecommunications testing equipment, including butt sets, toners, probes/wands, cable testers, and related diagnostic tools.
 * Perform basic telephone system moves, adds, and changes (MACs).
 * Conduct site surveys to determine cabling, pathway, equipment, and infrastructure requirements.
 * Assist with the design and layout of cabling infrastructure.
 * Install and properly dress telecommunications and network cabling.
 * Install voice and network racks, cabinets, patch panels, cable management systems, and related infrastructure.
 * Physically install telephone, voice, and network equipment.
 * Maintain accurate labeling and documentation of cabling and telecommunications infrastructure.
 * Assist with PBX and business telephone system installations.
 * Learn the programming, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ET&T-supported PBX and VoIP platforms.
 * Work independently on service calls and as part of a technical team on larger installations and projects.
 * Maintain clean, organized, and professional installations at all customer locations.
 * Communicate professionally with customers regarding work being performed and identified issues.
 * Follow company installation standards, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
 * Develop and maintain relationships with customer that enhance ET&T's positive reputation through exceptional customer service.
 * Maintain a professional and clean appearance (Company shirts will be provided)
