## About the Role

* Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance
 * Must be a U.S. citizen
 * Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (i.e., Computer Science, Software Engineer, Information Technology)
 * Five (5) to ten (10) years of software engineering/development experience in a Linux environment
 * Good understanding of distributed systems.
 * Experience developing Web applications, Golang applications or Python applications.
 * Basic understanding of build systems and containerization

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 * Proficiency developing and testing software in a Linux environment
 * Experience documenting test results for corrective actions
 * Excellent troubleshooting skills
 * Desire to work in the space industry developing satellite command and control systems for test and operations
 * Experience using software configuration management tools (examples: ClearCase, GIT, Mercurial, etc.)
 * Experience interacting with databases (examples: Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, etc.)
 * EXPERIENCE WRITING SCRIPTS (EXAMPLES: SHELL SCRIPTING, PERL, ETC.)

## Description

* Develop front-end and back-end software for web applications in a Linux RHEL environment
 * Experience with golang/c++
 * Knowledge of build systems.
 * Knowledge of Kubernetes.
 * Participate in UI design for web applications
 * Perform System and Software level Integration and Test
 * Design and implement software for a large-scale command and control system
 * Create and execute integration and system tests and document test procedures
 * Troubleshoot software system issues
 * Work in a dynamic, fast paced,sometimes pressured environment
