## About the Role

* Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Applied Optics.

 * Experience: 3+ years (3-15+ for senior roles) in complex system development, preferably within the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
 * Technical Skills: Strong understanding of optical systems, control engineering, and software/hardware integration.
 * Tools: Experience with data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, JMP, LabVIEW).

## Description

* System Integration & Design: Lead architecture, integration, and verification of complex optical or electron-beam imaging systems.
 * Requirements Management: Define, document, and manage system requirements and interfaces
 * Performance Optimization: Conduct error budgeting, tolerance analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA) to meet imaging performance targets.
 * Data Analysis & Troubleshooting: Analyze large data sets from system tests, simulation, and field data using Python, MATLAB, or JMP.
 * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software, mechanical, optics, and manufacturing teams to ensure system-level performance goals are met.
 * Customer Support: Provide high-level technical troubleshooting for field escalations
 * Must be able to travel internationally to customer sites at least 20% of the time, with additional travel as business needs require.
