## About the Role

* 7+ years of Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering
 * Strong hands-on experience with Backstage and developer portal implementations.
 * Deep AWS expertise, including EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and cloud-native architectures.
 * Extensive Kubernetes and container platform experience.
 * Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation.
 * Experience integrating GitHub, Datadog, PagerDuty, Jira, identity providers, and observability tools.
 * Strong understanding of software developer experience (DevEx) and platform engineering best practices.
 * Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

## Description

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer to lead the productionization and expansion of our Backstage Developer Portal. This role will be responsible for hardening the existing Backstage platform, automating software catalog ingestion, implementing golden-path templates, integrating engineering tools, and creating a scalable self-service developer experience across 400+ AWS accounts. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, AWS, developer experience (DevEx), and infrastructure automation.
