## Description

MetroSys is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer I to join our Infrastructure Services team supporting enterprise environments for our clients. This role is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting Windows-based infrastructure while working closely with senior engineers on server, virtualization, cloud, backup, and infrastructure projects., * Support and administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365.

 * Monitor and maintain enterprise infrastructure including servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup systems.
 * Assist with server provisioning, patch management, system upgrades, and infrastructure lifecycle activities.
 * Perform routine health checks, preventive maintenance, and operational monitoring.
 * Troubleshoot server, operating system, virtualization, and infrastructure issues while escalating complex incidents as needed.
 * Support backup operations, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity initiatives.
 * Participate in vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and infrastructure compliance activities.
 * Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
 * Collaborate with networking, security, cloud, and service desk teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
 * Participate in after-hours maintenance windows and on-call support as required.
