## About the Role

* 6 to 10 years of experience in data governance, data management, process engineering, or a related field.
 * Technical background with strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and extracting data across tools.
 * Coding proficiency in Python or SAS.
 * Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
 * Ability to manage tight deadlines and shifting requirements while balancing multiple stakeholder needs.
 * Clear communication skills to convey complex data concepts to varied audiences.
 * Bachelor's degree.

## Description

* Investigate data quality rule failures and determine root causes using hands-on validation queries.
 * Write and run SQL queries to validate, extract, and analyze data across multiple systems and tools.
 * Partner with business and technology teams to implement Data Governance policies and the Data Risk and Control Framework.
 * Produce monthly data extractions to support metrics reporting and ongoing performance monitoring.
 * Track data-related issues, ownership, target dates, and associated metrics for governance reporting.
 * Coordinate with business lines and global functions to roll out enterprise Data Governance strategy and risk taxonomy updates.
 * Gather and synthesize metrics on existing data governance practices, incorporating industry best practices.
