## About the Role

* Minimum of five years of acute-care and/or ambulatory MEDITECH Expanse EHR systems experience.
 * Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Information Systems, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may be considered.
 * Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, and healthcare IT applications.
 * Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, supporting, maintaining, or optimizing electronic health record systems.
 * Experience supporting clinical users, including physicians and nursing professionals.
 * Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
 * Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of assigned applications and projects., * Experience serving as a MEDITECH Expanse application specialist, analyst, administrator, or application support lead.
 * Experience coordinating EHR upgrades, patches, application implementations, or system enhancements.
 * Experience developing test plans, performing application validation, and supporting release management.
 * Experience training physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on EHR workflows.
 * Familiarity with healthcare application integration, access provisioning, incident management, and data integrity practices.
 * Experience working with clinical informatics, application lifecycle management, and business relationship management.
 * Experience collaborating with healthcare IT vendors and multidisciplinary operational teams.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Applications Systems Specialist with strong MEDITECH Expanse Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience to support, maintain, optimize, and enhance clinical and administrative application systems in a hospital environment.
