## Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to ensure software systems meet functional, non-functional, business, and technical requirements. This position is a contract role and is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

What You'll Do

 * Review project requirements, specifications, and business expectations to develop comprehensive testing plans
 * Create functional and non-functional test cases, test scripts, and acceptance criteria
 * Execute test cases under varying conditions to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability
 * Document, evaluate, and communicate testing results to stakeholders
 * Detect, log, track, and report software defects and program bugs
 * Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects
 * Create testing procedures, user guidance, and training materials to support application quality initiatives
 * Identify, recommend, and implement appropriate testing methodologies and quality assurance strategies
 * Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and testing activities
 * Collaborate with project team members regarding application development, customer issues, and security requirements
 * Support testing efforts for systems containing K-12 education data
 * Assist with validation and quality assurance activities involving Snowflake, Salesforce, Tableau, and automated testing solutions when applicable
