## About the Role

* Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or closely related degree or equivalent experience
 * 5+ years of work experience in an embedded engineering role
 * Proficient in C, C++
 * Experience in owning SW features or projects end to end with production launch
 * Experience in SW development on HW products, for example, working knowledge of common low-level interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART, working knowledge of FreeRTOS and Embedded Linux
 * Experience reading schematics (basic EE skills)
 * Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week

Nice To Have

 * Experience with networking or wireless communication protocols
 * Proficient in Go

 * Build and maintain embedded software and firmware for devices we ship to customers.
 * Own features end to end, from scoping and architecture through implementation, testing, and production launch.
 * Develop and debug software for Linux-based devices, including connectivity and networking features.
 * Work with product management, hardware, and cloud teams to define and ship features that improve the customer experience.
 * Share knowledge with teammates and mentor other engineers.
 * There may also be opportunities to contribute to cloud services, depending on your interests.
