## About the Role

* Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred

 * Experience: Minium of 5-7 years of system engineering expertise with both physical and virtualized environments and modern UI frameworks

 * Skills:
 + Underling of high-level programming languages and UI design tools
 + Knowledge of memory access protocols, semiconductor physics, and computer architecture (advantage)
 + Experience with debugging techniques

 * Certifications:
 + CompTIA Security+CE
 + ITIL Foundation
 + RHCE/RHCSA - Preferred

 * Clearance
 + Candidate must be a US Citizen
 + DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain an Interim clearance.

 * Up to 20% US based travel may be required.

## Description

* Assist in the design, scalability, and extensibility of the design system, including component libraries, style guides, and design tokens
 * Write and manage requirements for new features, UI updates, and legacy system enhancements; align with product managers, designers, and developers
 * Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, product) to ensure seamless integration of design system elements into applications
 * Assist in the development, testing, release, and support software updates for design system components as well as resolve bugs and implement solutions
 * Maintain up-to-date documentation, high- and low-level design documents (HLD/LLD), and usage guidelines for internal and external teams
 * Provide technical support to installers, end users, and internal teams; diagnose and resolve complex issues
 * Strategic Initiatives: Develop and execute strategic initiatives for design system adoption, scalability, and performance improvements
