## About the Role

* Demonstrated work experience with OpenSource (NoSQL) products such as Hbase/Accumulo, Big Table, etc.
 * A minimum of six (6) years demonstrated experience out of the most recent eight (8) years developing production software for Solaris or Linux environments
 * Six years (6) of experience developing software using the Java programming language or C or C++
 * Developing RESTful services
 * Developing infrastructure as code
 * Continuous integration and deployment tools such as Ansible and Terraform
 * Java development
 * Kubernetes
 * Previous experience developing analytics applications

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

 * Active TS/SCI with current Polygraph required
 * Twenty (20) years of experience in planning and leading Software Engineering efforts.
 * Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required

 * Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

## Description

Software Engineer to implement, test, and operate using advanced software security techniques in compliance with the technical reference architecture to enhance software systems.

 * Perform on-going security testing and participate in code reviews to improve software security and features.
 * Debug, design, and code new software or modify existing software.
 * Provide and recommend engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
 * Contribute on all levels of the architecture and maintain technical documentation.
 * Collaborate with team members and exchange knowledge on secure coding practices.
 * Ability to develop familiarity with new tools and best practices.
