## About the Role

* Associate's degree with at least 7 years of experience.
 * Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
 * Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience.
 * In lieu of a degree, you must have at least 9 years of relevant experience.
 * Knowledge and experience with 32 CFR 117 NISPOM, NIST 800-53/53a, DCSA Assessment and Authorization Guide (DAAG), Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG).
 * Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one, which requires US citizenship.

Preferred Requirements:

 * Prior ISSO and/or ISSM experience.
 * Working knowledge of MUSA, ISOL and WANs.
 * Basic knowledge of COMSEC.
 * Experience with Incident Response, Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Disaster Recovery.
 * Ability to work in a teaming environment and individually.
 * Accurate verbal and communication skills.
 * DoD 8570 IAM III compliant certification (CISSP, CISM, etc.) Must be able to obtain within 3-6 months of being appointed.
 * Working knowledge with eMASS to include submission of systems.
 * Experience with Window and Linux OS as well as Virtual Machines/Zero Clients.
 * Experience with monitoring/hardening tools; SPLUNK, NESSUS, SCAP.

## Description

This is a multi-faceted information security position requiring a qualified security professional in support of multiple Rolls-Royce Defense programs and support of our corporate security standards across all sites.

What you will be doing:

 * Creation and execution of Assessment and Authorization artifacts (System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), etc).
 * System self-inspections, continuous auditing, and oversight.
 * Sustainment activities (maintenance, hardware/software changes, account creation, assured file transfers, patching, etc).
 * Interface with internal and external customers on a daily or weekly cadence.
 * Manage time, priorities, analyze problems and provide sound solutions.
