## About the Role

* At least 5 years of professional LabVIEW development experience, including responsibility for software design or technical leadership.
 * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * Experience designing test automation, data acquisition, or measurement systems.
 * Strong experience with LabVIEW application structure, hardware integration, debugging, and verification.
 * Ability to communicate technical decisions and guide engineering teams.
 * U.S. citizenship.

Preferred qualifications

 * Experience with NI hardware such as PXI, cRIO, or DAQ systems.
 * Familiarity with NI TestStand, VISA, instrument drivers, and serial or Ethernet communications.
 * Experience with software version control, configuration management, and formal verification.
 * Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) or equivalent experience.
 * Experience in defense, aerospace, or another high-reliability engineering environment.

## Description

We're seeking a LabVIEW Architect to lead the technical design of automated test and measurement systems. You'll define scalable software architectures, guide implementation, and work with engineering teams to deliver reliable LabVIEW applications in a high-reliability environment., * Define software architecture for LabVIEW test, measurement, and data acquisition systems.

 * Translate system and customer requirements into software designs, interfaces, and implementation plans.
 * Select and maintain coding standards, frameworks, and reusable components.
 * Guide LabVIEW engineers through implementation, design reviews, and troubleshooting.
 * Design software integrations with instruments, sensors, DAQ hardware, and control systems.
 * Review code for quality, performance, maintainability, and adherence to requirements.
 * Lead software verification, integration, and system-level debugging.
 * Maintain architecture documents, interface specifications, test plans, and technical records.
 * Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, test, and program teams.
