## About the Role

· Strong experience with enterprise server environments, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.

· Working knowledge of VMware, virtual server management, and infrastructure performance monitoring.

· Familiarity with Azure and AWS environments and cloud integration concepts.

· Exposure to automation or configuration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or ServiceNow.

· Experience with platforms such as Pure Storage, vSAN, Horizon, Nutanix, Zerto, Cohesity, Rubrik, Varonis, Proofpoint, xClarity, 10ZiG, Zena, Tanium, PrinterLogic, Kubernetes, SFTP, or NTP is a plus; experience with every tool is not required.

## Description

A major manufacturing organization in Lafayette is seeking a System Administrator to support its enterprise systems and server infrastructure. You will maintain reliable operations, resolve issues that disrupt users and production, and contribute to infrastructure improvements as business needs evolve.

What You Will Do as a System Administrator:

· Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, systems, hardware, and software.

· Support VMware virtualization, virtual server management, enterprise storage, and infrastructure monitoring.

· Maintain backup and disaster recovery capabilities and help restore service when incidents occur.

· Monitor performance, investigate recurring issues, and document resolutions and system changes.

· Contribute to Azure and AWS integration, infrastructure upgrades, and automation projects.

· Collaborate with IT and business teams to address operational needs and limit disruptions.
