## About the Role

We are seeking a skilled, proactive and driven Tier I - IT Support Technician. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for a variety of users, meaning that exceptional critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills are a must. You will create support tickets and ensure their completion, provide solution to basic and moderate technical problems, properly escalate complex IT related issues and maintain thorough documentation. In addition to this, you will be exposed to other areas of IT by completing routine tasks that will provide you with knowledge and hands-on experience in networking, infrastructure, databases, etc., * High school diploma or equivalent GED.

 * IT related certifications (i.e. CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+).
 * Proven experience in technical support or IT support roles (at least 2-3 years).
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally across multiple channels.
 * Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LAN, etc.
 * Experience with Confluence, Jira or similar systems.
 * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
 * Excellent phone etiquette, analysis skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
 * Professional appearance to adhere to a business casual environment., * High school or equivalent (Required)
