## About the Role

Experience and Education: Eight years of Java Software design, development, testing experience is required.

 - A bachelor's degree is required; candidates without a bachelor's degree must have four additional years of relevant experience.
 - Prior experience in the insurance or healthcare industry, supporting a CLAIMS system, is required. Claims experience and knowledge of how claims are processed, priced, adjudicated.
 - Required Technologies: Kubernetes, Jenkins, Oracle, SQL, Salesforce, Jira, AWS.
 - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Jenkins in a AWS cloud environment is required
 - Strong communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
 - A proactive mindset for identifying risks and recommending solutions

## Description

The Senior Developer will support a custom system built from the ground up and organized into use cases.
-The role includes identifying technical risks, developing mitigation strategies, and recommending industry best practices and standards for the project.

 - The developer will work with stakeholders and technical and analytical partners to define constraints and develop requirements and concept-of-operations documentation.

This position is primary remote but does require 2 onsite visits per month at our clients Baltimore MD office. This position also requires a final round F2F interview in Baltimore as well.
