## About the Role

* A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
 * Three (3) to five (5) years professional technical experience with familiarity of Naval Weapon Systems
 * Possesses a robust knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) methodology
 * Must have direct experience with the Cameo Systems Modeler tool and MagicDraw
 * Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
 * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
 * Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

 * Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds.
 * Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
 * Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.

Target salary is $100,000/annually to $150,000/annually commensurate with experience

OverviewSYSTEMS ENGINEER (MBSE) (E30-2026-24878):Bowhead seeks a DoD SECRET cleared Systems Engineer with Model-Based Systems Engineering experience to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) on the MK 160 Gun Computer System and Naval Fires Control Systems. The position is fully funded and in the second year of a five-year contract.
