## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
 * Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering management, preferably in aerospace or related industries.
 * Strong expertise in software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and project management.
 * Proficiency with programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python, and experience with embedded systems software development.
 * Experience with aerospace software standards such as DO-178C and knowledge of safety-critical software development practices., * Advanced degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
 * Experience leading large, distributed software engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
 * Knowledge of model-based design and verification tools.
 * Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and DevOps practices.

## Description

You will report directly to our senior leadership, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the advancement of aerospace technologies by overseeing software development processes, fostering innovation, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet stringent aerospace industry standards.
