## About the Role

* 12+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, C++

 * 6+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka

 * Good exposure to microservices architecture, cloud technologies

 * Experience in designing and building scalable, distributed applications

 * Experience in product development would be a plus

 * Experience in eCommerce projects

 * Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.

 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 * Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

 * The most successful candidates will also have experience in the following: Gitflow, Kubernetes, docker Atlassian products - BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence etc.

 * Continuous Integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or TFS

## Description

UST is searching for a Senior Java Engineer; you will work designing and implementing Java-based applications.

What You'll Do

 * Analyzing user requirements to inform application design.

 * Defining application objectives and functionality.

 * Aligning application design with business goals.

 * Developing and testing software.

 * Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.

 * Producing detailed design documentation.

 * Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.

 * Developing multimedia applications.

 * Developing documentation to assist users.

 * Ensuring continuous professional self-development
