## About the Role

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Syracuse, NY.

In this role, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to design innovative technical solutions and execute project scope under the guidance of a team leader. You will be responsible for translating functional requirements into robust designs and validating that those designs meet all performance and project constraints.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of digital processing algorithms and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and technical discipline. Success in this position requires the ability to work independently, follow leadership direction, and deliver high-quality results within defined timelines., * 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or 0 years experience with Masters in related field.

 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with leadership and peers.
 * A team player with the ability to participate in cross-functional teams, communicate with team members, and coordinate work with others to reach a common goal.
 * Willingness to travel for external testing events and customer demonstrations.
 * Clearance: Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Preferred Requirements

 * Experience in RADAR, Electronic Warfare, and/or Wireless Communications.
 * Experience in one or more of the following involving performant processing: FPGAs, GPUs, CPUs, digital filters, high-speed ADCs/DACs, complex mixed signal PCB design.
 * Experience with Circuit Card schematic and Design.
 * Experience with Altium Designer.
 * Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
 * Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl, Python.
