## About the Role

Continuously identifies and implements process and efficiency improvements to enhance delivery quality, operational effectiveness, and overall engineering outcomes. **Job Requirements**: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or as a Programmer Analyst, Software Engineer, Stack Developer, or related.
Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience.
Qualifying experience must include at least three (3) years of experience with each of the following: JAVA [JDKv17]; SpringBoot; Spring; Oracle/SQL; Angular; JENKINS Pipeline for CI/CD TOOLS; ALM TOOLS; PCF or AWS. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

## Description

Plans, designs, and implements technical solutions and alternatives that meet business needs while adhering to Mastercard standards, processes, best practices, and PCI requirements.
Owns performance, scalability, and integration decisions and cost/benefit optimization, and develops technical roadmaps to optimize services and functions.
Collaborates cross functionally with product managers, stakeholders, and other technical leads to drive design alignment, implementation, and successful delivery of complex projects.
Acts as a technical mentor, providing guidance to junior and mid level developers, conducting brownbag sessions, and promoting modern technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
Participates in Proofs of Concept (POCs) and supports evaluation and selection of vendor solutions, tools, technologies, methodologies, and frameworks.
Performs requirements reviews, design reviews, peer code reviews, security reviews, and continuous opportunities to enhance standards and improve development processes.
Serves as a subject matter expert for production support, assisting with incident resolution, complex problem tickets, and ensuring system stability and reliability.
