## About the Role

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance Post-Start for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Must be eligible and willing to obtain additional security clearances., * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

 * 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
 * 2+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
 * Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability.
o Experience in Ada coding for safety critical systems
o Experience with embedded software in C/C++, * 9+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.

 * 5+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
 * 1+ years of experience with lifecycle configuration management tools (GitLab) & utilizing Agile tools (Jira)
 * Experience in technical leadership with collaboration across multiple teams and locations in a fast-paced environment
 * Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
 * Experience with cryptography and other security protocols
 * Working knowledge in the field of cyber security, secure computing and/or anti-tamper
o Experience in Python in automation
o Experience in unit testing
o Knowledge in cryptography
o Active security clearance

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).

 * Supports the development of documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
 * Support and be accountable to program engineering leads in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
 * Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.
