## About the Role

The ideal candidate is a solid coder, eager to learn and good at working with others. You should be comfortable taking a feature from requirements to working code with guidance from senior developers., + 3+ years of Java development experience.

 + Experience with Spring or Spring Boot.
 + Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or Db2.
 + Experience with Git and a build tool such as Maven or Gradle.
 + Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 + Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
 + Continually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers.
Preferred Qualifications:

 + Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
 + Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
 + Experience supporting federal government contracts.

## Description

**Kreative Technologies is looking for a Java Developer to build and maintain features for enterprise applications. You will write clean, tested Java code as part of a collaborative development team., + Develops, tests and maintains Java application code.

 + Builds and updates web services and REST APIs.
 + Writes SQL to work with relational databases.
 + Fixes defects and supports production issues.
 + Writes unit tests and takes part in code reviews.
 + Participates in sprint planning, stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies.
 + Documents code and technical changes.
 + Performs other duties as assigned.
