Though most of the repairs that come through our door are Apple, the rest are PCs and Windows laptops, and you'll need to handle those just as confidently. This is hands-on hardware work. Diagnostics, display and battery replacements, logic board swaps, data recovery, liquid damage assessment, and the judgment calls about what's worth repairing and what isn't. You'll also pick up remote and phone support when the queue allows, and talk directly to customers about what you found and what it will take to fix. Working for an AASP bench has its own rhythm. You're following Apple's process and documentation, meeting turnaround expectations, and keeping repairs clean and accountable. Precision matters. So does being able to explain a failed drive to someone who just wants their photos back. A good bedside manner is critical.
