## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
 * 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
 * Proficiency in CAD, 3D Solid Modeling or other drawing software desired. (CATIA, Inventor and AutoCAD skills are preferred).
 * Strong mechanical design skills with an ability to read and layout mechanical drawings.
 * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
 * Strong attention to detail.
 * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

## Description

* Take a proactive approach in partnering with contract sales, component sales, systems, engineering, and project management to provide customers with competitive and accurate proposals.
 * Develop new designs to meet customer or marketing specifications.
 * Document designs using the appropriate format to company and/or customer standards.
 * Provide guidance to other departments: manufacturing, engineering, customer service, through the life of the project.
 * Process inbound RFQ's from the company's sales team.
 * Prepare and issue written quotes to customers.
 * Enter orders into CRM for all contract jobs.
 * Process and perform development project testing.
 * Accompany sales personnel to conduct field measuring and/or attend customer meetings.
 * Provide guidance/status updates to customers and other departments: Engineering, Contract Sales, Sales Representatives of the contracted job.
 * Fully support the Company's ISO objectives, GK WAY, policies and procedures.
