## About the Role

TSMC Technology Inc. is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support business operations, engineering workflows, and technology systems. In this role, the Software Development Engineer will translate technical requirements into practical software solutions, write clean and efficient code, participate in design discussions, and help maintain applications throughout the software development lifecycle. The position requires strong programming fundamentals, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable learning new technologies, investigating complex problems, and following established development, testing, documentation, and security practices., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

 * Experience developing software applications through academic projects, professional work, internships, or equivalent experience.
 * Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C++, C#, or JavaScript.
 * Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
 * Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and basic data modeling.
 * Knowledge of software testing, debugging, version control, and application maintenance.
 * Ability to analyze technical problems and develop structured, reliable solutions.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage assigned tasks effectively.
 * Attention to code quality, documentation, reliability, and security.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
