We design, build, maintain, and upgrade high-voltage transmission infrastructure that supports the backbone of the electric grid. Whether working on new construction, line upgrades, or critical maintenance, our teams ensure projects are executed with the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. Our work involves both traditional methods and the latest industry innovations to deliver sustainable, cost-effective, and reliable solutions for our customers. The Designer, Transmission will perform routine Transmission Line design assignments, which requires knowledge and skill in basic design techniques and procedure. Thorough knowledge of design standards, material, and CAD software will be required. Experience with 3D design software packages is preferred. This position will report to a Lead Designer and support transmission line projects across the QISG platform.
