Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts. * Working knowledge of cloud-based data services, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric data platform components. * Proficiency in Python as the primary programming language for data engineering, including experience with Microsoft Fabric notebooks and Spark/PySpark-based data processing frameworks. * Solid understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, pipeline orchestration, and performance optimization. * Experience with dimensional, analytical, statistical, and relational data models. * Ability to design, support, and troubleshoot enterprise-scale data pipelines and data platforms. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality and detail. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. * Proven ability to learn and apply modern technologies, tools, and methodologies. * Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. * Strong customer service mindset when working with internal stakeholders and partners. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE List Degree Requirement, Years' Experience, and Certifications * Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required * Three (3) or more years of experience working with database technologies and data integration platforms (e.g., SQL Server, Informatica, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Fabric, AWS or similar) is required. * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. * Experience in or exposure to the insurance industry is preferred. ## Description Responsible for designing, building, and supporting enterprise data pipelines and platforms that facilitate analytics, regulatory reporting, and business intelligence throughout Brotherhood Mutual. Requires demonstrating expertise across all phases of development, from acquiring data from source systems to timely loading of enterprise data stores for analytic, regulatory, and reporting purposes., To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
