## About the Role

Looking for a dynamic Scrum Master as contract to hire, with experience in the public cloud space (Azure, AWS, etc.) to support Public Cloud Team's journey in our exciting transformation to the cloud. The candidate will bring enthusiasm to the agile mindset in the tech infrastructure world. Candidates need in-depth experience using Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate would have experience working with teams on a public cloud (Azure and AWS) journey. Are you ready to work with teams building the future?, Qualifications/Skills (must haves):

 * Greater than 5 years' experience in scrum master role
 * Intermediate to advanced understanding Agile, scrum and SAFe (scaled agile frameworks)
 * Intermediate to advanced skills using Azure DevOps: backlog, kanban, queries, dashboards and widgets (burndown, velocity, etc.)
 * Meeting facilitation skills with outcome of consensus building, documentation of actions and main discussion points.
 * Strong leadership, organizational skills and effective communication (written and verbal).
 * Individual and team building skills.
 * Ability to apply principles to contribute to innovative ideas.
 * Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

## Description

The Scrum Master will manage scrum of scrums for the Public Cloud ADO teams:

 * Manage scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives for multiple Agile cloud delivery teams.
 * Mentor and coach Agile principles and practices.
 * Support team in identifying blockers to aid in resolution.
 * Provide outward communication for the team to external stakeholders.
 * Partner with the Product Owner to ensure that clear priorities are set for the teams, stories are ready for sprint, and good acceptance criteria., * Demonstrate scrum principles and practices to the teams, with an emphasis on leveraging the benefits of Agile.
 * Escalate and follow-up on blockers to team delivery.
 * Monitor and track hygiene in ADO use by scrum teams.
 * Enable teams to be self-sufficient ADO users.
 * Champion ADO for transparent reporting on progress of work from Azure DevOps dashboards.
 * Proactive bi-directional communication across multiple business and technology teams.
 * Identify and effectively manage interdependencies across ADO teams and their ADO work items.
 * Partner with the team managers to ensure capacity managed to have predictability, consistent delivery on commitments and not over or under committing leveraging ADO metrics.
 * Develop and maintain team metrics including progress on key deliverables.
