## About the Role

* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
 * Customer service experience is preferred.
 * Loss prevention experience is preferred.
 * Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
 * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
 * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
 * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

How This Role Works:

 * Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
 * Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed., * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and data infrastructure location.

 * Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
 * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
 * Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas to help identify unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
 * Assist with monitoring cameras, intrusion detection systems, and other site technology, reporting malfunctions, irregularities, and potential security-related issues to site leadership.
