## About the Role

* A minimum of two years of IT Experience.
 * A minimum of one year of demonstrable and recent experience of System Administrator of an on-premise application.
 * Efficient in using Microsoft Offices (including Word, Excel, and Visio) and proven experience in technical writing.
 * Bachelor's degree or equivalent
 * Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
 * Proven ability to identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations
 * Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
 * US Citizen

Bonus if you have:

 * Working experience in PowerShell is highly preferred
 * Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM frameworks is preferred
 * Knowledge of Cloud Computing is preferred
 * Ability to function in a fast-paced high demand environment
 * Ability to learn new skills and research issues on their own when needed
 * Ability to work in a team of highly skilled technical resources

## Description

The System Administrator role is to operate and maintain AFS Enterprise Applications with high availability and performance in a secured manner and is expected to provide predictable quality service in a timely fashion.

Typical activities include application deployment and upgrade/patching activities that usually include proper planning, design, build, and test activities; providing user support, troubleshooting and resolving systems issues independently or collaboratively with internal/external teams; providing evidence to support auditing activities; and updating existing or create new processes and procedures for improved quality and efficiency, reduced cost, and improved security; patching Windows operating systems; and so on.
