## About the Role

* Demonstrated data analysis skills, analytical thinking, and business intelligence experience, including Excel data analysis and dashboard development.
 * Working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server; experience with Oracle or other SQL databases is useful.
 * Familiarity with database design, data visualization, reporting and dashboarding tools, query management, and analytics.
 * Experience with one or more of Python, R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), or Talend is preferred.
 * Technical proficiency with tools such as Visio and experience supporting data analysis or project work through the SDLC are valued.

## Description

* Gather and clarify business needs through requirements analysis and business analysis; translate them into reporting and analytics solutions.
 * Query SQL databases, manage queries, and support ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and data model design.
 * Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other data analytics tools.
 * Analyze data, validate results, and communicate findings through clear reports and recommendations.
 * Collaborate across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile project management, software development lifecycle analysis, and linked data initiatives.
