## About the Role

* 10 years (Senior) or 15 years (Principal) experience working as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
 * Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
 * Strong Linux systems administration and engineering experience. Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.

Desired Skills:

 * Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
 * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently assess a project, identify an effective technical approach, and implement a solution.
 * Experience with Keycloak, LDAP, Geoserver, and NIFI.
 * Knowledge of tactical data links and related technologies, such as Link 16, IBS, and Cursor-on-Target (CoT).
 * Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.
 * Ability to support Information Assurance activities

## Description

* Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.
 * Perform system hardening, patching, and other activities necessary to maintain secure and reliable systems.
 * Communicate effectively with program personnel, Government representatives, mission partners, and senior executives
 * Collaborate with developers and testers to support software development, system integration, verification, and mission-effect validation.
 * Ensure the technical integrity and quality of work products and deliverables within the assigned systems engineering area.
 * Develop and maintain technical documentation, system architectures, and system design documentation.
 * Gather data pertaining to user needs and problems and use the information to identify, predict, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements.
 * Participate in a weekly rotating after hours on-call team.
