## About the Role

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear preferred) 2.
5+ years of applicable engineering experience 3.
Experience with MathCad or MATLAB or VBA or similar program. **Beneficial:** 1.
Professional Engineer License 2.
Design and analysis experience with the Emergency Core Cooling System, Chemical & Volume Control System, Residual Heat Removal System, Reactor Coolant System, and Containment Spray System 3.
Experience with ASME Section XI 4.
Experience working at a Nuclear Power Plant, testing, or construction facility 5.
Familiarity with testing and testing analysis 6.
Familiarity with ASME Section III 7.
Familiarity with fluid system and thermal-hydraulic design (pump, valve, heat-exchanger sizing, fluid network analyses) 8.
Familiarity with the nuclear power plant designs for operating PWR and BWRs and advanced reactors or AP1000.

Experience with MOV, AOV, and check valve programs.

About the role: As a Senior Fluid Systems Engineer you will develop and oversee the technical implementation of fluid system design and plant support.
You will report to the Manager of Systems Engineering & Special Programs and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. The position is hybrid; typically you will be on site 2 days per week., Identify problems and propose solutions to projects and tasks that are assigned or innovated.

Plan and implement complex training programs to develop business in plant programs 3.
Work with fellow engineering personnel to set objective and breakdown/resolve multiple design, analysis, and program efforts 4.
Communicate nature and status of work performed to appropriate technical lead and management 5.
Participate in customer, vendor, and regulator meetings to present technical materials and justification of services and product designs 6.
Make data-based decisions, work independently, and communicate with plant management, WEC staff, and other stakeholders.

Promote a Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) and Westinghouse's strong Nuclear Safety Culture.
