## Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable IT Technician to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for the physical replacement of end-of-life computer hardware for our users, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption. The successful candidate will meticulously follow documented procedures and instructions to prepare, deploy, and retrieve computer equipment., * Execute scheduled computer replacement tasks based on provided lists and timelines.

 * Prepare new computers for deployment, which may include basic configuration and software installation according to standard images and procedures.
 * Travel to user locations (if applicable) to perform on-site computer swaps.
 * Assist users with the basic transfer of their data to the new machine, following established guidelines.
 * Collect outdated computer equipment and ensure it is handled and processed according to company procedures for inventory and disposal or return.
 * Maintain accurate records of deployed and retrieved equipment, including serial numbers and asset tags.
 * Follow all instructions and technical documentation precisely during the deployment process.
 * Provide basic, Tier 1 level support during the replacement process, escalating more complex issues to senior technicians.
 * Communicate effectively and professionally with users during the replacement process.
 * Adhere to all company IT policies and procedures.
