## About the Role

* High School Diploma or GED.
 * Minimum one (1) year of software development or programming experience.
 * Familiarity with software development principles and programming concepts.
 * Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
 * Effective written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment., * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
 * Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
 * Experience supporting web-based applications.
 * Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git.
 * Familiarity with software testing and quality assurance practices.
 * Experience working in an Agile development environment.
 * Familiarity with automated build, deployment, or CI/CD processes.

Security Requirements

 * Must be able to obtain and maintain all customer-required access, background investigation, and security requirements.
 * Possession of a cybersecurity certification meeting DoD Cyber Workforce (IAT Level II) requirements is preferred. Examples include:

The selected candidate will work closely with software developers, system administrators, and end users to implement application improvements, troubleshoot technical issues, support software releases, and maintain technical documentation.
