## About the Role

* Approximately 8-10 years of overall technology/software engineering experience
 * Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
 * Hands-on experience with Ab Initio, ETL, or other enterprise Big Data technologies.
 * Experience with system design, application development, testing, debugging, and production support.
 * Experience working in a large corporate/enterprise environment.
 * Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
 * Experience working with databases and large data sets., * Experience with AWS technologies such as EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
 * Familiarity with React.js, Angular, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
 * Financial services or payments industry experience.

As a Software Engineer - Java/Big Data/AWS you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team designing and delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology solutions in support of the firm's business objectives., * Designs, develops, tests, and troubleshoots secure, high-quality enterprise applications.

 * Develops solutions across multiple technical areas, considering upstream/downstream dependencies and system architecture.
 * Works with large and diverse data sets to identify issues and drive improvements to applications and system architecture.
 * Supports application resiliency, operational stability, CI/CD, and security.
 * Contributes to Agile development practices and software engineering communities.
