## About the Role

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

 * MS with 10+ years of experience, in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
 * Knowledge in IC design data model, hierarchical design flow, database architecture, efficient data access algorithms
 * Proficiency with C/C++ and Tcl scripting is preferred.
 * Experience in P&R software tool usage is a plus.
 * Excellent programming and software engineering skills
 * Experience with UNIX and/or LINUX platforms is preferred

## Description

Cadence Design Systems is looking for a highly motivated software or digital IC design engineer to work with the Innovus routing team in the physical implementation business unit. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging and supporting P&R design flow. Development responsibilities will include data-model and P&R flow enhancement, database enhancement, performance enhancement, and API/Class definition & enhancement.
