## About the Role

* Demonstrated proficiency supporting and administering both macOS and Windows.

## Description

Job Description: CloudCover has a customer seeking a Senior IT Support Technician for a minimum 6 month 100% onsite position located in South San Francisco CA. This is an 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday position with the possibility of extensions. No sponsorships available for this position. This is the second on-site technical resource for the account and requires a more senior, hands-on generalist who can support servers, backups, and scripting in addition to day-to-day end-user support across both macOS and Windows environments. The key responsibilities are as follows:

 * Provide on-site IT support across mixed macOS and Windows environments, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
 * Administer and maintain server infrastructure, including day-to-day monitoring and maintenance.
 * Manage and monitor backup systems, including Veeam, NAS, and S3-based storage.
 * Write and maintain scripts to automate routine IT tasks and improve operational efficiency.
 * Deploy, configure, and support end-user laptops and desktops, including Insitro-issued equipment.
 * Escalate and resolve issues beyond tier-1 support, partnering with the broader IT/infrastructure team.
 * Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and support procedures.
