## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * Experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or a related IT role.
 * Knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
 * Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
 * Familiarity with user management, access controls, and system security.
 * Experience with backup procedures, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methods.
 * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
 * Ability to work independently and prioritize technical tasks.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or Microsoft Entra ID.
 * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
 * Knowledge of virtualization technologies and automated system administration.
 * Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and disaster recovery planning.
 * Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft or CompTIA Server+, are an advantage.

## Description

* Install, configure, monitor, and maintain servers, operating systems, and business applications.
 * Administer user accounts, access permissions, and security policies.
 * Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization.
 * Troubleshoot server, network, software, and connectivity issues.
 * Perform routine system updates, patch management, and maintenance.
 * Manage data backups and assist with disaster recovery procedures.
 * Support cloud services, virtualization platforms, and enterprise IT systems.
 * Maintain system configurations, technical documentation, and IT asset records.
 * Implement security controls and follow established IT policies.
 * Collaborate with technical support staff, developers, and vendors to resolve infrastructure issues.
 * Recommend improvements to system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
