## Description

An established Western New York technology company is seeking an experienced, self-directed IT professional to take a key role in its Managed Services operation.

This is not an entry-level help-desk position. We're looking for someone who can walk into a client's environment, understand what's happening, solve problems, and take ownership-with minimal day-to-day supervision.

The Opportunity

You'll support a variety of small and mid-sized businesses, each with its own technology environment and challenges. You'll be expected to keep systems secure and reliable, resolve technical issues, and identify improvements before problems disrupt a client's business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical side of IT and the responsibility of being a trusted resource for business clients.

What You'll Be Responsible For

· Manage and support Windows workstations, servers, Microsoft 365, networks, firewalls, wireless systems, VPNs, and cloud services.

· Monitor and maintain backups, cybersecurity tools, and business continuity systems.

· Troubleshoot technical problems remotely and onsite, following issues through to resolution.

· Perform system maintenance, software updates, patching, and configuration.

· Manage user accounts, access controls, and Microsoft 365 environments.

· Document client environments, configurations, and changes.

· Identify vulnerabilities, recurring problems, and opportunities to improve client systems.

· Recommend practical technology and security improvements.

· Communicate directly with business owners and employees, explaining technical issues without unnecessary jargon.

· Manage multiple client environments and competing priorities with minimal supervision.

· Take initiative in researching and resolving unfamiliar technical challenges.
